[UPDATED] RuPaul’s Drag Race Fan Shares HORRIBLE Sharon ‘RUDE B!TCH!’ Needles Encounter

Last night in New York City at former RuPaul’s Drag Race contestant Carmen Carrera’s birthday bash, a fan of this year’s final three contestant Sharon Needles is reporting a not-so-good encounter on her Facebook. I’ll just exclude the part about this is why uber-professional Chad Michaels is my choice to take the crown.

Everybody comes out to take pics and Miss Needles walks through like she’s Satans gift to earth!!! We all say can we get a pix she’s like ignoring the whole night! So I go outside because she’s smoking a cig! She’s going and on about how she hates being a celebrity because everybody wants a pic! So I say why won’t you take a pic with your fans and talk to us and she say ‘… Because memories are best told than taking a pic’ so we all looking at her dumbfounded like wtf!! So she walks off blows smoke and our face and say ‘ok I’m out life is so hard being a celebrity’ and I yell to her you a rude bitch !!

She the only person I really wanted to see tonight !! And after talking to most of the club she the reason a lot of people here and she won’t even say hey fans I love you!!! That’s just wrong how she treating us her fans !! Who made her famous [source]

This is such a travesty considering Sharon Needles is a fan favorite as the contendor to carry on RuPaul’s legacy. It’s also a travesty that she has such high self-esteem considering her lips are more overdrawn than her bank account and every week she walks a runway like her one good hip is taking it’s last stroll.

    I know for a fact that that does not mesh with how Sharon actually is.

    According to fans, she has given them hugs and photos after she’s been done with performances (and they have actual pictures). I do not think Sharon actually said any of those things and this is someone who has something against Sharon.

    “and last but DEFINITELY not least, yes, I did get to see my Sharon. I still can’t believe it.
    she came outside while I was with my sister, and I was literally pushed in her direction until I was standing right next to her. I was utterly starstruck and couldn’t think of anything to say, so I just said “Hi, Sharon.”, which came out sounding extremely timid. xD then she immediately turned to me, gave me the biggest smile, and said “Oh, hi, honey!” And that was when I lost it. I was so overcome that she was actually speaking to me that all I could do was hug her tight, and I started to cry into her bedazzled RuPaul suit. heh! It lasted all of ten seconds, but it was the absolute best part of my night. <3"

    This is beyond untrue. Sharon took more time than any of the other girls to sign things and she actually spoke to everyone. Security was even yelling at the crowd to hurry up and let her go through and she still took the time to talk to all of us and sign things. The money eating was done while she was performing as Ru, if anything it was a testimony to Ru herself, and not Sharon. I am not a die hard fan of any of the final three but I felt the need to share this, as I don’t believe people should blatantly lie over something so silly as a reality show.

    I was there last night! I met all the queens and got pictures with them..all except for Sharon. Sharon was extremely stand-off ish with the fans and her head was clearly blown up with the fame. She didn’t get a single pic with any asking fan. I see it as, if you don’t want to take pics with fans, that’s fine..but she was being rude and saying things to the fans that anybody who looks up to her wouldn’t want to hear. In the end, Sharon is an underground dirty rock and roll kind of chick. That’s how she is. So I still love her? Yess! Though, I don’t think many will understand the exact kind of person she really is because she was portrayed a bit differently on Drag Race. And as far as her eating tht $20, tht was just her way of saying tht she doesn’t want money. Like I said, she’s an underground kind of chick.

    Sadly, this is true. Had I read this post and not been there that night, I wouldn’t believe it either. I was at Club Escuelita that night and had left around 3 am and Sharon was outside smoking. I was ELATED to catch her there without a huge crowd around her, and so I nervously asked her “Sharon can I please get a photo with you? I’m a huge fan.” and she looks at me, rolls her eyes, scoffs, and gives me her back. I was so embarrassed. I had only went there that night to see her. I ended up getting a photo with PhiPhi and Dita who were actually the nicest that night. No matter if you’re an underground chick or a badass or whatever, you should always dedicate SOME sort of respect towards your fans. She won BECAUSE of the fans. Even when she was hosting and telling stories she never once said anything about her fans, and all she would talk about was how “fucking famous” she is now.

    I left the club early that night and Sharon was outside. I caught her eye and she ENCOURAGED me to come over and we talked for several minutes. I did not ask for a picture because I felt like the memory was way better than a photo. Turns out we were both right.
