61-year-old Roman Catholic Monsignor William Lynn is on trial in Philadelphia for conspiracy and child endangerment as prosecutors say he aided the Diocese in hiding and disposing of priest-abuse complaints, including multiple child molestation cases.
In the day’s most startling testimony, a detective read internal church memos about a priest who allegedly “joked about how hard it was to have sex with three boys in one week.” His accuser also stated that the priest had a “rotation process” of boys spending time sleeping with him.

Other testimony in the case exposed a complaint from1992 where someone reported a priest molesting young boys during summer camps in the 1960′s, crawling in their tents late in the night for sexual favors. It became a big secret among camp counselors because nothing was done about their original complaint 30 years prior.
In 2004, the molester was chaplain of a suburban all-female school in Philadelphia. The Diocese suspended him only after a scandal hit the media. He confessed to molesting three boys after evidence was presented against him.
