Gay Social Network ‘Just Left the Closet’ Aims to Help Teens Find Hope.
Inspired by the rise in anti-gay bullying deaths around the world, Tomo (a 40-year old father of two) and his friend Jeremy felt compelled to start a website for teens to help them find support and love as they come out of the closet. It appears to be similar to all other social networks except there is less pressure to share your picture. The gem for this site is the special place where you tell your coming out story.
I wish a site like this was around during my teenage years. My family’s AOL was super slow; but, I don’t think I would have minded staying up to chat with other teenagers who understood the torment I encountered.
